Verdant & Co. began with a simple idea: that a garden, well-made, is the finest thing a family can pass down. Twenty-eight years later, we still believe it.

From our studio on Bainbridge Island, we design and build for clients who care about doing things slowly and well. Our crews are in-house, salaried, and have been with us an average of nine years.

What we believe

Where we work

We focus our practice across Washington and Oregon — Seattle and the islands, Olympic Peninsula, Portland metro, the Skagit and Willamette valleys. We take on twelve new projects each year.
